Season Passes 2008 – Cardrona Alpine Resort

You can purchase a Cardrona only Season Pass, or a joint Season Pass, the “Ultimate Pass”, usable at Mt Ruapehu (Whakapapa and Turoa) and Cardrona. Please carefully note that deadlines for purchasing Season Passes.

*Loyalty Discount - last year’s (2007) season pass holders receive a loyalty discount of $20 for Adults and Students, $5 for Children and $10 for Veterans. This only applied to season passes purchased by March 18, 2008.

Ultimate Pass 2008 – Cardrona Alpine Resort and Mt Ruapehu (Whakapapa and Turoa) season pass. Must be purchased before April 30, Adult pass only for $739 or $729 if purchased on line. Please purchase from Mt Ruapehu. Sales from 1-30 April 2007.

Season Pass Discounts between Mt Ruapehu and Cardrona - Cardrona Season Pass holders receive a discount on single day lift passes (Upper Mountain) purchased for themselves at Mt Ruapehu ski areas of Adult $20 and Child $10. Mt Ruapehu Season Pass Holders receive a discount on a single day lift passes purchased for themsevles at Cardrona of Adult $20, $15 Student, and Child $10.

Season Pass Discounts between South Island resorts and Cardrona - Cardrona Season Pass holders receive $20 and $10 discount for Adult and Child lift passes respectively at Mt Dobson, Porter Heights, Rainbow and Mt Lyford.

Leading Mountain Resorts of the World - Cardrona season pass holders also enjoy a 50% discount off ski passes at 18 snow areas in Val Gardenia (Italy) and Bariloche (Argentina) regions on presentation of their 2008 season pass. This is part of the Endless Winter initiative of the Leading Mountain Resorts of the World, an alliance between Queenstown, Val Gardena (Italy) and Bariloche (Argentina). Payment and customer details must be received at the Cardrona office in Wanaka by the relevant cut-off dates as listed above.  Late payment relating to purchases of season passes will mean the price of the pass increases to the next applicable price bracket.

Terms and Conditions

Season passes are not transferable and cannot be purchased without customer details to assign to the pass.  Once a pass has been pre-purchased the customer needs to come to the mountain office at Cardrona to have the pass issued, or send a photo by mail.  Personal photo ID will be required.  For overseas customers we recommend a passport. Definitions for Season Passes:

Age As at 1 June 2008
Student NZ and Australian resident students ONLY.  Current identification is required from the institute at which the student is enrolled full-time. ISIC cards are NOT accepted.
Child Currently attending school, 6-17 years inclusive.
CHILDREN U6 Children under 6 years ski for free. Please collect a complimentary ticket from the ticket office. Alternatively these children can have their own season pass for a small processing fee ($5).
60-74 years 60 - 74 years of age.
75 years + 75 years of age or older ski for free. Please collect a complimentary ticket from the ticket office. Alternatively you can have your own season pass for a small processing fee ($5).
